车窗外，开始入秋季节的夕阳温婉了许多。远处，工厂和农民的厨房在冒着烟. 而我,依旧是个孤独忧伤的男人。
车子驶入市区的时候， 我恍惚似乎回到广州，2001年的夏天，看了电影《费城》，其中一个男人凄苍而不经意的歌声吸引了我。再后来知道那首歌曲叫《Philadelphia》，老杨唱的。再后来我揣着刚发的工资,从南海跑到广州，满大街的寻找Neil Youngd的CD，那盘CD 叫《HAERVEST》 。在晚上没人的时候，我就溜进办公室用公司电脑来听。多美纯真的往事啊。
直到现在,我还是那么喜欢这张CD ,(当然还有他的《freedom》) ,那是十分质朴的充满六七年代的民谣摇滚气息. 忧伤但不颓废，甚至乐观，这就是老杨！当然那时候也喜欢诸如《筋疲力尽的荣誉》等，只是我现在开始老了，我无力再去那么高亢的唱着了。可是30多年过去了，老杨还是那么年轻。与他同时代的那些叱咤风云的曾经战斗过的爷们死的死了，退了退了，到了上个世纪90年代，老搭档的乐队的Crosby已然老态龙钟，胖得让人同情，Nash被磨去棱角变得十足绅世派头了，而老杨依然牛仔裤，T恤，战斗在第一线。这是我多么喜欢他的原因，在我愈感到自己将告别青春的时候，愈发喜欢他了。
当然除了他的不老精神，还有他的天马行空特例独行不安分守己的风格。听过他的《only love can break your hear》《after the gold rush》《gold of the heart》，有时候你无法相信这位和着悦耳动听的乡村和民谣旋律，轻松咂弄着忧伤的出色的歌手在20世纪90年代被誉为垃圾音乐Gunge音乐教父！而在此之前的前几年，老杨还象模象样地做出《havest moon》如此清新的音乐，想想也不奇怪，老家伙的玩过很老式的50年代摇滚、乡村、布鲁斯，连New Wave 也不放过，轻松在根源与激进，民谣与朋克穿梭，而且那么玩得那么出彩。想嘛玩嘛，那潇洒劲儿！
人要是永远年轻多好！人要是能做自己想做的事多好，象老杨一样。
